Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Define, implement and execute an overall area sales strategy based on regional & product strategies
  • Strategically manage current distributors (e.g. deciding budget/prices, review meetings, proposing changes,…) to increase the sales results (volume and margin).
  • Initiate, coordinate and drive regular information exchanges on market requirements between Sales, Product Management, and integrate feedback from expert and support departments on feasibility of those requirements
  • (Jointly and regularly) visit and promote BENEO solutions to customers, strengthen the relationship with those customers and acquire new customers
  • Assist Beneo Management by providing monthly updates related to market performance and information
  • Manage area-specific marketing activities (e.g. coordinating customer days…) and involve relevant roles to increase the number of prospects and the presence in the local markets.
  • Communicate significant forecast updates on accounts/products in order for production to be able to adapt to market demand.
  • Report progress of the commercial pipeline and guarantee adequate follow-up of existing customers and prospects
  • Define pricing for assigned local and area accounts

 

Jouw Profiel

  • Bachelor and/or master degree in food technology or another science based degree
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a food ingredients environment
  • Excellent multi-lingual communicator and fluent in at least Japanese and English
  • Good communication skills (especially by phone and e-mail)
  • Ability to prioritize, juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and support team member
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated but team-oriented
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
  • Detail-oriented and focused
