Vos Tâches

  1. Establish robust demand forecasts by utilizing relevant statistical tools and using market and sales information (including planned sales orders, customer contracts, seasonality data, project pipeline, …) in close collaboration with sales, sales administration and product management teams, in order to optimally support the commercial division and provide accurate information to supply chain.
  2. Conduct analysis of sales forecasts together with sales and finance in order to provide the organization with accurate information with regards to demand topics in the budget cycles.
  3. Report on forecast accuracy in order to enable all stakeholders to take decisions.
  4. Coordinate forecast updates and manage demand changes in order to keep commercial and supply chain operations continuously updated.
  5. Contribute to the monthly S&OP review process by preparing demand planning for the assigned product group(s), balancing demand, inventory and production capacity (supply chain) and acquire approval, to guide the activities of the commercial teams.
  6. Monitor the released against the forecasted planning and, where necessary, set priorities and/or alter the plan through consultation to ensure that the logistical performance of the planning meets the objectives.
  7. Draw-up requested and unrequested quantitative (what if) analysis of forecasting and realization of assigned supply chain planning in order to provide insight into the consequences, opportunities and bottlenecks for the commercial teams.
  8. Optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness by observing and evaluating bottlenecks and opportunities in demand planning related processes, procedures and/or systems, and ensure implementation of improvements after approval.
  9. Participate in assigned demand planning projects within the project management guidelines in order to support business needs and priorities. 

 

Votre Profil

  • Forecasting: Expert in generating accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.
  • Data/Analytics: Skilled in analysing large datasets to identify trends, fluctuations, and changes in customer demand.
  • Data/translation: Ability to generate detailed reports and dashboards for senior management
  • ERP/SAP/Planning tools: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and demand planning software (METIS) understanding the processes and master data topics
  • Business knowledge + Customer focus: Understanding of the business and customer needs and how they impact demand planning, particularly for the assigned product groups
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate demand forecasts, issues, and recommendations towards both internal and external stakeholders
  • Project management/contribution:  Ability to contribute to internal projects as demand planning/forecast expert
  • Team/collaboration:  working closely with sales/sales admin, production/supply chain, and other internal and external stakeholders to align demand plans with business objectives.
