Reports hierarchically and functionally to the Head of Product Management Functional Protein. Increase the company's functional Proteins business success within the existing product portfolio. The scope of your tasks ranges from product innovations, market insights, identifying demand for solutions, utilizing our product portfolio most efficiently in the required applications.

Tasks and Key Performance Indicators linked to the role
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and success of one or more products within the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including solution development, marketing, and sales, to ensure that the products meet customer needs, align with business goals, and are delivered on time and within budget. Key performance indicators are sales volume, pricing and gross margin.
Key Accountabilities
Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and potential opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key initiatives and milestones.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with solution development team to create product specifications, user stories.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and business objectives.
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including executives, sales, marketing, and customers.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve the product.
User Experience & Customer Focus:
- Work with sales and solution development team to ensure a user-centric approach to product design.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the product experience.
- Ensure that the product meets high standards of usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze product performance data and KPIs to assess the success of product initiatives.
- Use data insights to drive product decisions, optimizations, and future development.
- Regularly report on product performance, including usage, retention, and revenue metrics.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Ensure successful product launches, including coordinating marketing campaigns, sales training, and customer communications.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of go-to-market activities and adjust strategies as needed.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Manage the product budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams to forecast costs and revenue associated with the product.
Votre Profil
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- years of experience in product management or a related role.
- Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with product and/or project management tools
- Experience working within the food industry, preferably in the world of ingredients. You bring an additional plus when you have worked in the field of alternative proteins.
- Proven track record of managing and launching successful products.
- Ability to think strategically, do market sizing exercises and integrate these insights in the product vision and portfolio strategy.
- Ability to translate market needs into product solutions
- Agile and flexible: can deal with short deadlines and can cope with change
- Likes to shape and build business rather than work in an established business environment
