Your Tasks
- Utilize 3rd party warehouse (3PL) receipts and shipment reports to accurately post transactions in the BENEO SAP system on a daily basis. Resolve any discrepancies with our warehouse teams.
- Release customer delivery orders to warehouses and logistics partners, ensuring customer-specific requirements are met, including batch selection or special documentation.
- Alert Supply Chain and Customer Service teams of inventory issues that could prevent on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with inbound logistics to prioritize the flow of critical containers into the warehouse.
- Ensure warehouses have access to essential shipping documentation, including packing lists, Certificates of Analysis (COA), or other necessary documents.
- Prepare monthly inventory reconciliation for each warehouse location, maintaining inventory accuracy between SAP and WMS systems.
- Ensure timely disposition and reporting of non-conforming inventory such as expired, damaged, or obsolete stock.
- Collaborate with BENEO and Warehouse Partners on improvement projects that leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the supply chain.
- Support supply chain, finance, and quality teams with annual audit requirements.
- Participate in strategic projects such as evaluating warehousing and distribution strategies, maintaining SOPs, or training warehouse personnel.
- Foster constructive and collaborative relationships with our 3rd party warehouse network.
- Provide backup coverage and participate in cross-training within the supply chain department.
Your Profile
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in warehousing or inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform daily transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Experience in the food industry or a related field is a plus, particularly with batch-level product management.
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems, specifically with inventory and warehouse transactions.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with multiple departments.
- English language proficiency is required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to obtain ASCM (formerly APICS) certification or engage in similar continuing education.
Travel Requirements
- This is an in-office position based in Parsippany, NJ.
- Periodic visits to warehouse locations may be required for on-site support, physical inventory audits, product inspections, or other business needs.
- At the manager’s discretion, there may be monthly or more frequent visits to the primary warehouse in Edison, NJ.
- Semi-annual travel to other warehouse locations in the US or Canada may also be required.
