Your Tasks

As the expert in vital wheat gluten, you will develop and implement the sales strategy for this ingredient. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will create specific action plans, execute them, and ensure optimal execution of the sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development and Execution: Develop the sales strategy for vital wheat gluten and translate it into actionable plans with the sales team. Execute and monitor these plans to ensure alignment with the overall strategy.
  • Collaboration with Demand/Supply Planner: Work closely with the demand/supply planner to align sales strategies with the variable output of our factories. Act as the main contact for different production companies, ensuring strong relationships between principal and distributor.
  • Market Monitoring and Analysis: Regularly monitor competition and conduct market analysis. Use this information to define the pricing strategy in collaboration with the commercial director, and guide the sales team accordingly.
  • Opportunity Mapping and Project Management: Identify market opportunities and lead commercial projects to optimize revenue. Maintain a limited sales responsibility for select accounts to stay attuned to market dynamics.
  • Promotion and Positioning: Collaborate with expert departments (Marketing, Beneo Technology Center, Sustainability Department) to identify the unique selling points (USPs) of vital wheat gluten. Develop tools to effectively promote and position the product in the market.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Training: Share your expertise within the company and provide training to sales network partners.
  • New Market Opportunities and Product Extensions: Work with the New Business Development (NBD) team to identify new market opportunities and product extensions. Drive NBD projects from a commercial perspective and coordinate with operations, marketing, and experts for the go-to-market process.

 

Your Profile

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with demand/supply planners and production companies.
  • Ability to monitor competition, conduct market analysis, and define pricing strategies.
  • Experience in identifying market opportunities and managing commercial projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for knowledge sharing and training.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to promote and position products.
  • Experience in identifying and driving new business opportunities and product extensions.
  • Master's degree or 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Biological Science or Food Technology.
  • Knowledge of the milling/baking industry is a plus.
