Your Tasks

  • Translate sales strategy into an agreed country, category specific action plan and follow up of actions, to ensure the right direction is set.

  • Attract, motivate, manage, evaluate and develop team members, in order to create an environment where all employees are empowered and engaged and to ensure optimal qualitative staffing.

  • Coordinate and follow-up country activities and issues (f.e. quality issues, overdue,....), to ensure the target qualitative and quantitative results are realized.

  • Act as the contact person for the company (e.g. logistic, invoices, payment) in respective countries, categories.

  • Monitor sales results throughout the year and take action under the guidance of Area Sales Manager if needed (sales volumes, prices/ forecasts vs. budget), to ensure the target objectives are realized.

  • Identify sales opportunities, execute price negotiations, establish local relationships and follow-up on sales initiaties, to ensure all sales potential is used.

  • Follow-up on local projects, request resources and take action when necessary to ensure a qualitative completion of the project, within the timeframe.

  • Collect, provide and analyze relevant data on a periodic and ad hoc basis, as well as compile management reports, in order to make results measurable and provide management with timely, accurate and reliable information. 

  • Collect and process information on subjects as competitors, end users, general economic conditions trendss market share etc. and convey this information to relevant parties, such as the area sales manager, in order to provide them with relevant information that makes it possible to take appropriate actions, if necessary.

 

Your Profile

Thinking Level and/or Experience required for the role:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree 5 years’ experience in similar position; Master Business Administration, Biological Science; Food Technology

Technical Skills (including language(s)) required for the role:

  • Commercial

  • Strong communication, verbal & written
  • Effective reporting (formal & informal)
  • Strong chemo-technical expertise
  • English and German
