Your responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  1. Translate sales strategy into an agreed specific action plan, execute and follow up, to ensure the right direction is taken and the sales strategy is optimally executed.
  2. Report to Area Sales Manager US & Canada about activities and updates e.g. via visit reports, email etc., to ensure information is always up-to-date and action can be taken when necessary.
  3. Act as contact person for the company (e.g. logistic, invoices, payment) in the respective market category, to ensure information is provided when necessary.
  4. Communicate all BENEO product lines (including health & application benefits) as well as communicate the BENEO expert services, to ensure all opportunities are tapped into.
  5. Follow up and coordinating quality issues, documents and questionnaires, in order to be compliant.
  6. Arrange visits for follow-up on local projects and establishing local relationships with local buyers, R&D, quality, factory people, marketing by visiting them at least once a year, to keep up-to-date and build a strong network.
  7. Manage sales performance throughout the year and taking actions under the guidance of Area Sales Manager US & Canada if needed (sales volumes / forecasts vs. budget).
  8. Lead price negotiations, within agreed pricing framework for the area, which leads to the most optimal sales for BENEO.
  9. Generate volume growth projects assuring a filled pipeline.
  10. Create and update the Client Relationship Management System and inform Area Sales Manager US & Canada on the local projects, to ensure information is always up-to-date.
  11. Keep track of relevant developments in own field, exchange knowledge with colleagues and contribute to knowledge transfer within the organization, in order to be informed on trends and developments and be able to put these into practice.

 

Your Profile

Education, Experience, Skills and Competencies

Thinking Level and/or Experience required for the role:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree or 10 years’ experience in similar position; Master Business Administration, Biological Science; Food Technology

Technical Skills (including language(s)) required for the role:

  • Commercial
