Your responsibilities
- Translate sales strategy into an agreed region specific action plan, execute and follow up, to ensure the right direction is taken and the sales strategy is optimally executed
- Act as contact person for the company (e.g. logistic, invoices, payment) in the respective countries, to ensure information is provided when necessary.
- Define and implement sales strategy/plan for a specific product line within BAN portfolio, with Area Sales Manager, to ensure the right priorities are set and the targets will be met.
- Arrange visits for follow-up on local projects and establishing local relationships with local buyers, R&D, quality, factory people, marketing by visiting them at least once a year, to keep up-to-date and build a strong network.
- Monitor sales performance throughout the year and taking actions under the guidance of the Area Sales Manager if needed (sales volumes / forecasts vs. budget).
- Lead price negotiations, within agreed pricing framework for the area, which leads to the most optimal sales for BENEO.
- Actively develop new markets for our ingredients.
- Create and update the Client Relationship Management System and inform Area Sales Manager on the local projects, to ensure information is always up-to-date.
- Keep track of relevant developments in own field, exchange knowledge with colleagues and contribute to knowledge transfer within the organization, in order to be informed on trends and developments and be able to put these into practice.
- Manage timely removal of co-products out of the plants and managing sales of overstocks and off-spec products.
- Overall coordination of co-product sales. Coordinate closely with internal (operations & supply chain mgt) & external stakeholders. Assure that sales planning and production planning are aligned.
Your Profile
Bachelor/Master degree and 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position;
Master Veterinary Science; Biological Science or Food Technology
Technical Skills (including language(s)) required for the role:
