Your Tasks

  • Create HSE accountability in CropEnergies Group at all level
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of the CropEnergies Safety Strategic pillar “Safety Culture” as subject matter expert and key driver for initiatives
  • Lead site safety development, including hard hat safety, culture, safe systems of work, process/functional safety
  • Ensures legal compliance with respect to HS Framework Systems Management
  • Central expert interface for all HSE topics
  • Coordination of activities / exchange between the local (site) HSE experts  
  • Implementing H&S reporting routines within CropEnergies AG / interface for Südzucker Group HSE reporting
  • Development and maintaining the HSE management system as part of the overall HSE management / coordination of overarching H&S procedures and methods within CE AG (e.g. precising Südzucker HSE group instructions)
  • Organizing  and participating to internal H&S audits within CropEnergies AG
  • Exchange and optimize procedures for risk assessments, incident investigation / reporting, permit to work, …
  • Curious to deploy new ideas and to use new innovative digital tools and platforms for providing HSE Framework Systems Management direction by f.e. the development of leading KPI´s / process safety KPI´s …
  • Ensures relevant HS training is provided by the most efficient and effective means to the HS community in accordance with identified training needs
    Communication / motivational icons, claims, visuals …
  • Act as advisor for major investment projects within the CropEnergies group for all aspects of Safety in collaboration with local  (site) management
  • Develop CropEnergies group communications for all aspects of safety for CropEnergies board and Südzucker

Your Profile

  • University education in Science or Engineering oriented to industrial application or equivalent (chemical, biochemical, electromechanics)
  • Additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems.
  • 8 or above years experience in Health, Safety and Fire Services in processing or chemical industries, 5 years should be in a supervisory position
  • Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Incident Command System, Incident Investigation, HSE Auditing Techniques
  • English language : fluent in reading, speaking and writing
  • German or French or Dutch are considered as advantage
  • Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and systems.
  • Strong communicator, self-assured, able to work independently.
  • A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritize activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points.
  • Experienced in planning and executing project, construction and commissioning activities
