Your Tasks

  • Process engineering plant design and documentation for the phases pre-, basic- and detail-engineering
  • Supervising the project execution incl. the involved technical planners and trades
  • Responsible for plant planning and implementation of projects in the field of food production, in particular with regard to project content, deadlines, costs, quality, safety and sustainability
  • Site supervision & commissioning, deadline and cost controlling of the projects as well as independent, project execution
  • Development and realization of demand-specific solutions and active participation in the preparation of offers and contracts with the specialist departments and specialist planners
  • Technical leadership of respective project members in planning and execution phases
  • Ensuring contract and contractor management as well as responsibility for compliance with operational and legal requirements and regulations
  • Perspective towards leading function within the operational organization
  • Lead the production team to manage production line operations (both in quantitative and qualitative terms)
  • Achievement of production goals according Master Plan and Business year
  • Co-operate with site stakeholders (inter alia Quality, EHS, Maintenance, HR, Supply Chain, Agronomy) as the unit's SPOC (single point of contact) to ensure transparent, integrated interactions
  • Coach employees to stimulate them to provide optimal service, to be committed and to develop
     Define and update production goals
  • Performance of the production line (OEE/KPI)
  • Overseeing production processes
  • Propose potential improvements to increase production line efficiency and optimize organisational performance
  • Participate in scheduling maintenance planning to minimize production downtime and maximize safe working conditions
  • Ensure that regulations and good practices in the fields of quality, safety and purchasing are applied, executed and documented to abide by current laws or ensure group compliance
  • Estimate, set and manage production budgets
  • Production-specific consumption (water, energy, consumables, auxiliaries, others)

Your Profile

  • Academic education with Master Degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, Food Technology or comparable
  • Experience with industrial background
  • Excellent spoken and written German & English; good knowledge of Dutch, French is an asset
  • General knowledge on quality, production, engineering and quality supply chain aspects in food ingredients
  • Experience in extrusion is an asset and/or dry protein fractionation technologies
  • Strong Analytical & reporting skills, verbal & written
  • Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, customer & profit oriented
  • Problem solving skills
