We are an international leading company for functional ingredients for humans and animals. Our production sites are located in Germany, Belgium, Chile and Italy. We market our products in over 75 countries with an international sales Network. BENEO is a member of the Südzucker Group.

Your Tasks

  • Commercialization of functional ingredients of the BENEO Group in the confectionary segment hard boiled candies throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) including Key-Accounts
  • Drive Business Development activities (incl. new customers, new product ideas, new applications) with the aim to grow the business by creating new projects
  • Price and contract negotiations 
  • Strategic development of the confectionary segment for hard boiled candies in DACH
  • Acquirement of country & category specific market knowledge and transfer to internal departments
  • Active participation in annual sales-, price- and budget-planning as well as reporting
  • Achieve business targets (margin responsibility)
  • Team Management of 2 Junior Sales Managers

Your Profile

  • Masters Degree in economics, food technology, nutrition science, nutrition economics or biotechnology 
  • Min. 5 years of working experience within sales, preferably in the confectionary industry in DACH for functional ingredients
  • Fluent German and English skills in writing and speaking
  • Strong analytical & negotiation skills
  • Service and customer oriented thinking and working
  • Affinity for numbers & accurate way of working
  • Highly motivated and result oriented
  • Passionate team player
  • Communicative/convincing and enthusiastic 
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured way
  • Strong interest in topics in the area of nutrition and technological questions and eager to learn 
  • Willingness to travel regularly (about 30%)
