Nachhaltige, erneuerbare Produkte aus Biomasse – dafür steht CropEnergies. Mit unseren Produkten tragen wir zu einer klimafreundlichen Welt bei und sorgen dafür, dass fossile Kohlenstoffe dauerhaft im Boden bleiben. Neben erneuerbarem Ethanol produzieren wir wertvolle Lebens- und Futtermittel. Aktuell verfolgen wir verschiedene Projekte zur Herstellung biobasierter Chemikalien auf Basis von Ethanol. CropEnergies betreibt Produktionsstandorte in Deutschland, Belgien, Großbritannien und Frankreich und ist Teil der Südzucker-Gruppe mit weltweit insgesamt 18.000 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern.

Aufgaben

  • Serve as the central point of contact for climate and environmental issues within the CropEnergies and Beneo Group, as well as in cooperation to the Südzucker Group and other relevant units (e.g., production sites, ETS management, …)
  • Responsibility for collecting and coordinating the reporting of environmental data for group-wide obligations to ensure transparency and legal compliance (e.g., EU Taxonomy, CSRD, SBTi, etc.)
  • Monitoring, managing, and optimizing environmental and climate targets (e.g., reduction of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions) as well as topics related to the Südzucker Group (e.g., water management, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions)
  • Consistent implementation, establishment, and further development of environmental management systems (e.g., EMAS), including compliance with climate and environmental regulations at European production sites
  • Digitalization of environmental processes and data management (e.g., Sphera or Power BI) to advance internal reporting

Profil

  • (Bachelor’s) or master’s degree in one of the following fields (or equivalent): environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or natural sciences
  • Professional experience and practical experience in a corporate setting related to the topics and tasks mentioned above are a plus
  • Strong ability to independently grasp complex regulatory and technical topics and process them in a structured manner
  • Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and an interest in a wide range of topics
  • Strong communication skills, facilitation skills, and a confident demeanor
  • An independent, structured, and analytical approach to work
  • Fluency in spoken and written German and English; knowledge of French is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office products; knowledge of SAP and experience with data management software (such as Sphera) is a plus
